If you are tired of traditional churches then The Refuge may be for you. We are committed to being godly, without being "churchy." Our goal is to be a place of spiritual refuge in a world that often doesn't feel safe.
Many people believe churches are out of date, out of touch, and more interested in money than anything else. We are a congregation that serves God and people in the Oakville area in an unselfish way. Our mission is to love God and serve Him and to love others and serve them. We believe that God's people, while deeply flawed, can make a difference. We welcome you to join us any Sunday morning at 10:30.
Our services are informal and focus on the needs of regular people. Our music is a blend of contemporary praise and worship. The messages our pastor shares will be easy to understand, relevant and often humorous.
Children are welcome to remain with their parents in worship services, but we also offer a great children's ministry called The CLUB. It's designed to connect with kids on their level, and teach them about God and His love for them in fun ways.
David Otis, our Youth Pastor, leads our teens. This is a small but fun loving group that enjoy learning how to live their Christian faith in today's world. If you want to learn more or join us at the church on Wednesday evenings at 7:00, feel free to call or text David at 636-375-8090.
